Buyer beware

There are many similar sounding brands of air conditioning equipment available today and if you are not that familiar with the air conditioning industry they can all start to sound the same.

Many of these miscellaneous brands are imported from abroad and because they are not well known there is very little in the way of technical support or repair should anything go wrong. With many of these miscellaneous unknown brands, the manufacturers go out of business, leaving the people who have purchased their equipment with redundant equipment that has no technical or support backup should it breakdown.

The cost difference between these miscellaneous brands and the main quality brands can be as little as a few hundred pounds, yet should the miscellaneous branded equipment fail, the owner is left with thousands of pounds worth of useless air conditioning equipment.
